Tap, Drag-and-Drop & Swipe Mechanics
The veterinarian minigames are designed with three intuitive input methods: tapping, drag-and-drop, and swiping, allowing players to interact with tools and animals in various fun and accessible ways.
-
🔹 Tap
- Players can tap directly on tools or body parts to trigger an action.
- Example: Tapping on fleas to squash them, or tapping on a syringe to apply it.

-
🔹 Drag-and-Drop
- Tools can be dragged from a tray and dropped onto the correct spot.
- Example: Dragging a band-aid onto a wound or food onto a tray.

-
🔹 Swiping
- Swiping is used for actions that involve motion or cleaning.
- Example: Swiping a towel to dry, soap to clean, toothbrush to scrub, or comb to untangle fur.

This combination of input methods:
- Makes gameplay engaging and versatile.
- Allows freedom of interaction based on player preference.
- Supports development of motor skills, precision, and cause-and-effect understanding.
These mechanics are consistent across all vet scenarios, from treating flea bites and removing shards to brushing fur and feeding healthy food.
